Dr. Wisely Phiri is a skilled IT professional with hands on experience and certification on enterprise solutions in the data centre. He is the founder and currently Managing Director of Sparc Systems Limited (Malawi, Zambia and Rwanda). Dr. Phiri has designed and implemented a number of solutions in Malawi and across Africa for the banking sector, telecommunication companies and Government institutions. Earlier, he served as President of ICT Association of Malawi from 2016 to 2018. Dr. Wisely Phiri holds a PHD in Information Technology, Innovation and Business from UNICAF University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (with Distinction) from the University of Malawi. He is an IBM Certified Systems Administrator, an Oracle Certified Associate, a NetApp Data Administrator and Engineer. He is also a SUN Certified Engineer and certified Server and Storage Architect. He has served as President of ICT Association of Malawi from 2016 to 2018 and managed to raise membership.

Mr. Arnold Mbwana is a corporate executive, with over 19 years of experience in roles such as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Finance Officer, Chief of Audit, Forensic Investigations, Enterprise Risk Management and Revenue Assurance for public listed company. His experience covers mobile telecoms, fintech/mobile money, financial services (insurance and asset management), hospitality, and international development. International experience includes performing audit engagements in 12 countries in Africa, Middle East and East Asia. Arnold is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCCA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a member of the International Executive Development Program (IEDP). He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree (with Credit) obtained from the University of Malawi.

Dr.  Dorothy Chapeyama is a seasoned corporate executive with over 20 years of experience in the Insurance Sector. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Reunion Insurance Company Limited, which she co-founded in 2005. Dr. Chapeyama is also the current Vice President of the Insurance Association of Malawi and belongs to several other technical committees as member including the Special Risks Consortium, National Bureau on Yellow Card Scheme and Anti-Fraud Committee. Earlier, she was president of the Malawi Insurance Association and Insurance Institute and Education Secretary of the Insurance Institute of Malawi and lecturer, teaching insurance and mentoring insurance students.  She is also former Chairperson of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, Yellow Card Insurance Scheme. Dr. Chayeyama holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) both from the University of Malawi. She is a Chartered Insurer by profession and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK).

Mr. Byson Mkhomaanthu is a seasoned leader with a strong background in business strategy and extensive experience in the renewable energy sector.  Bryson has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a keen ability to drive growth and profitability through sustainable interventions. He is the Chief Executive Officer of PressCane Limited where he is responsible for overseeing the company’s overall operations, setting strategic direction, and spearheading initiatives that enhance PressCane’s market position. Bryson holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management from the University of Bolton and a Bachelor’s Mechanical Engineering Degree from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). He honed his strategic acumen when he attended an Executive Development Program (EDP) with the University of Cape Town and a Senior Management Development Program (SMDP) with the University of Stellenbosch.

Mr. Akash Deep is a multi-faceted professional with experience in achieving business growth objectives by investigating new opportunities and maximizing competitive strength for long-term success across various industries including Steel & Roofing, Milling, Food and Beverage, Hospitality and Airlines. At present, Akash holds the dual position of Senior Management Executive at HMS Foods & Grains Limited and Safintra Malawi. In each of these organizations, he contributes a substantial amount of knowledge and experience. He is a certified Digital Transformation and Marketing Professional and a graduate of the economics program with an MBA in marketing. Additionally, in 2023, he successfully concluded a Business Sustainability Management Leadership Program at the University of Cambridge. Akash has also completed the Process Improvement program at the Tata Management Training Centre and the Harvard Business School.

Mrs. Thokozani Unyolo is a seasoned award-winning Pan-African marketing and business executive with 21 years marketing and sales experience across 16 African Nations, both Anglophone and Francophone speaking markets. She has worked in multiple key sectors of the economy with demonstrated history of working in diversified industries including Aviation, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Services and Technology organisations of International and local brands. Thoko is skilled in Regional Leadership (Africa), Business Planning, Strategy Development and implementation, People Management, Marketing Management, Strategic Internal and External Communication, Client Relationship Management and Engagement, Public Relations, Brand Building, Social, Economic and Environmental Impact (CSR &ESG), Social Media Management, Multiple Cross Border Stakeholder engagement and management, Building strategic partnerships and Product Innovation and Lifecycle Management. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Air Cargo Malawi Limited. Thoko holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Mr. Goodwin Sam Ng’oma is a certified leadership and change management coach, a corporate governance trainer of trainer, a specialist in economic policy management, programmes and projects management, policy designing and analysis, proficient learning and development management, certified management consultant, lecturer in business management studies and HR fellow.  He has over 20 years of professional experience in all fields of consultancy, project management, general management, business finance, economics, research and consultancy. Goodwin is also a Lecturer of Business Management. Currently, he is working at Coca-Cola Beverage Malawi as Corporate Affairs Director. Goodwin holds a Master of Arts Degree in Economic Policy Management, Master of Science Degree in Project Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Management studies and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in Management.

Mr. Charles Zimba is a skilled civil engineer with proven record of accomplishment in planning, designing, and constructing building and civil infrastructure.  He holds a history of undertaking significant projects such as bridge construction, structural construction, transportation and infrastructure construction, and water resources construction. Charles is the founder and Managing Director of Sico Civils Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.

Mrs. Emmie Shaba-Mzungu is a hospitality Industry expert with extensive knowledge and experience in various aspects of the hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, resorts, event planning, tourism, and related businesses. She provides consulting services to hospitality businesses, advice on operational strategies, customer service improvements, marketing techniques, and other areas to enhance efficiency and profitability. Emmie is currently the General Manager of Ilala Crest Lodge in Mzuzu. She holds Master of Science in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems.

Mrs. Cecilia Mseteka is a versatile business executive with over a decade of experience in business management.  She is the founder and Managing Director of Nyaluwangwa Farms Limited in Mzuzu. Emmie is exposed to disciplines such as Client Relationship Management, Human Resources Management, Financial Management and Strategy Development and Management. Earlier she worked as a Corporate Travel Consultant, a Personal Banker, both in Zambia. Emmie holds a Diploma in Bookkeeping obtained from Varsity College, Johannesburg, South Africa and a certificate in Poultry Production and Management obtained from DICLA Training Centre, Muldersdrift South Africa.

Mr. Mackson Ng’ambi is a corporate executive with 11 years’ experience in Project Management, Strategic Business Administration, Accounting Financial Reporting, Auditing and Financial Management. He is currently the acting Chief Executive Officer of Mzuzu Coffee Planters Cooperative Union, commonly called Mzuzu Coffee having arisen from Accountant, Internal Auditor and Chief Finance Officer within the organization. Mackson is a holder of a Master’s Degree in Finance, Management obtained from Amity University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, and Finance obtained from Blantyre International University.
